New Delhi, Nov 11: Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today said Chief Vigilance Commissioner P Shanker had not discussed with him about any Central minister as having sought undue favours from public sector undertakings.
"No name of any minister figured during the meeting I had with the CVC and the cabinet secretary," he told reporters at the airport before enplaning for Moscow as part of his week-long three-nation tour of Russia, Tajikistan and Syria.

On media reports that Shanker has complained to him about six Central ministers allegedly pressurising PSU chiefs, the Prime Minister said "I do not understand how such reports have appeared. The Cabinet secretary has already given his clarification and after that everything is clear. No minister was named in the discussions. "The Cabinet secretary and other officials keep meeting. The officials of vigilance department are also there. But media, somehow, tries to speculate and create sensational stories. This is not right," Vajpayeee added.
