Los Angeles, Mar 01: Actress Bridget Fonda suffered minor injuries when the car she was driving flipped over on the rain-slickened coastal highway in the star-studded enclave of Malibu, authorities said on Friday. Fonda, 39, was taken by ambulance to a Los Angeles hospital following the crash of her 1998 Jaguar on Thursday morning, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
There were no passengers in Fonda's car and no other vehicles were involved, officials said.
A spokeswoman for the actress, the daughter of actor Peter Fonda and niece of Jane Fonda, declined to comment on the accident other than to say she was expected to be released from the hospital on Friday and "she's doing fine." Details of her injuries were not disclosed by authorities. The accident report noted that Fonda complained of back and neck pain from the wreck, Sgt. Martin Dailey told a news agency.
The report listed rain as a "primary factor" in the accident but it was not immediately clear how Fonda lost control of the car, causing it to roll over.

No charges were pending in the accident, which remains under investigation, the sheriff's department said.

Fonda's film credits include roles in "A Simple Plan," "Finding Graceland" and "Jackie Brown."
