Daler`s brothers remand extended
Patiala, Oct 15: A local court today extended the police remand of Shamsher Singh, a brother of noted Punjabi singer Daler Mehndi till tomorrow in a case of alleged human trafficking.

police remand of Shamsher Singh, a brother of noted Punjabi
singer Daler Mehndi till tomorrow in a case of alleged human
trafficking.
Shamsher was produced in the court of Chief Judicial
Magistrate N P Singh here late this evening who accepted the
police plea for the extension of his remand.
He was brought to the residence of the magistrate and
soon after taken away by police after the brief proceedings.
The case was registered on the complaint of one Bakshish Singh, a resident of Belwara in the district against Shamsher, his brother Daler Mehndi and three others after he alleged that he had paid Rs 13 lakh out of the Rs 15 lakh demanded for sending him abroad, which was not done.
