Anticipatory bail of Balco directors cancelled
Pune, June 21: The additional Sessions Judge D K Gaikwad today cancelled the anticipatory bail granted to directors of Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd (BALCO) and Sterilite group, for breaching the conditions of bail.

Ajay Padia of Sun Industries Ltd Pune, in a complaint against Balco director and others had alleged that Balco had cheated the complainant of crores of rupees.
A case under Section 406, 420, 109, 34 of IPC has been filed by Swargate Police against the accused.
Anil Agarwal and others had applied for anticipatory bail which was granted by the Pune sessions court on the condition that they would cooperate with police and not leave the country without informing the police till the chargesheet is filed. Since Agarwal and others did not comply with the above conditions and travelled out of India without intimating the police, the complainant filed an application for cancellation of their bail through his counsel Girish Kulkarni who said that the accused have breached the conditions of the bail.
