Mumbai, Feb 12: Maharashtra administrator general M K Patil today submitted three reports on the property owned by the late actress Suraiyya to the Bombay High Court. Patil told newspersons that he had submitted the reports to Justice K C Vajifdar at the high court where the matter will come up for hearing on Monday.
The administrator general of Maharashtra has sealed three properties of the actress who died on January 31 at the age of 75.
These are a ground floor flat at Krishna Mahal at marine drive in South Mumbai, six flats at Suraiya apartments at Worli in South-Central Mumbai and a sprawling bungalow at Lonavla, nearly 150 kms from here.
''I will begin the assessment after court directives,'' Patil said.
There are two claimants to her property--Amee Shah, daughter of Suraiyya's solicitor Dhimant Thakkar and Mehfooz Ahamed, the late actress' first cousin.
On Friday last, Justice Vajifdar had allowed the sealing of the property.
According to Patil, his immediate concern was to take the custody of the property and ensure that it did not fall into wrong hands.
