Dholpur, Mar 23: Expressing happiness over improving relationship with Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani today hoped that the neighbouring country would act "authentically" on its part. "We shall have to see how Pakistan acts in improving relationship with India," Advani told reporters.

There had been reduction of tension on border and terrorist violence had also been down but we have asked the security personnel to remain vigilent, he said.

There had been intermittent surge in terrorist attacks like the one made on Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed which created problems in restoration of good relations between the two countries.

Advani had all praise for Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for improving relationship with Pakistan saying "it is only Vajpayee`s ability that broke the thaw in relationship between the two neighbours." Bureau Report
