Mumbai, June 19: Police has arrested a gangster, owing allegiance to underworld don Chhota Rajan and involved in the sensational shoot-out outside a hotel in Juhu last year. The culprit Mahesh Mohan Bhogale (24) was nabbed yesterday at Amrit Nagar in Ghatkopar, northeast Mumbai, police said. During interrogation, Bhogale said at the instance of Baba Reddy, a top henchman of Chhota Rajan, he participated in the indiscriminate firing at J-49 bar and restaurant in Juhu on August 13, 2002 injuring the watchman. Bhogale is also wanted in a case of attempt to murder of one Santosh Shinde of park site, Vikhroli, police added.
