New Delhi, Dec 03: The opposition today stalled proceedings in the Rajya Sabha over the Dilip Singh Judeo tape controversy demanding suspension of question hour and discussion on the issue, leading to adjournment of the house till 1200 hours. As soon as the house met, senior Congress member Pranab Mukherjee demanded suspension of the question hour under rule 38 and that Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee make a statement on the issue. Asserting that the government was prepared to discuss any issue, leader of the house Jaswant Singh said he would inform the Prime Minister of the opposition demand.
Singh, however, said he could not commit on the timing and date of discussion on behalf of the Prime Minister. Bureau Report
