India should not support any military action against Iraq: Survey

A majority of 1048 respondents feel that under no
circumstances should military action be launched against Iraq
and one out of three believe that military action is
favourable only if sanctioned by the United Nations.
Nearly a third of the respondents to the survey, conducted by Taylor Nelson Sofres Mode, think that action was "very likely" to be launched against Iraq in the next few months, according to a press release from the research organisation.
Approximately four out of ten interviewees in the Gallup International Iraq poll held among 30,000 citizens of 41 different countries consider military action against Iraq in the coming few months "very likely." Bureau Report
