Mizo-BNLF peace talks on Thursday

The outfit would be represented by its president Surajmani Reang and Prophul, BNLF GS told news agencies over phone from an unknown destination.
Mizoram chief minister Zoramthanga had earlier said that they would take back the Bru/Reang refugees if the BNLF shun the path of violence.
Over 30,000 Bru people from neighbouring Mizoram came to Tripura in phased manner since October 1997 and took shelter in six refugee camps in North Tripura district following ethnic clashes with the Mizos.
Prophul said that 75 BNLF activists were killed by the banned National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) in 2000.
