A mild-intensity earthquake shook buildings in the Pakistani border city of Lahore on Monday, but there were no reports of casualties or damage, the Pakistan Meteorology Department said.
The pre-dawn quake had a preliminary magnitude of 4.6 and was centered in the eastern Punjab province, of which Lahore is the capital, near the border with India.
This is the second earthquake in Lahore during the last eight days. On January 28, the city was rattled by a moderate earthquake. But it also did not cause any damage or casualties. Bureau Report
