Srinagar, June 26: Four foreign militants, one Afghan national and three Pakistanis, belonging to Lashkar-e-Toiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad outfits, were killed today in an ambush-cum-search operation by Army in north Kashmir's Kupwara district, a defence spokesman said. The ultras were killed during the operation carried out by Rastriya Rifle unit of counter-insurgency group of Army's Kilo Force at Doroo Swain village in Lolab in the frontier district early this morning, the spokesman said. The deceased were identified as LeT district commander Abu Mua'wiyah (Gujranwala), Abu Waqas (Bahawalpur), JeM militant Abu Wasim (Rawalpindi) and Jaish company commander Abu Hamid, a resident of Kandahar in Afghanistan, the spokesman said. He said four AK rifles, 12 magazines, 252 rounds of ammunition, 10 rifle grenades, one radio set and Afghan and Pak currencies were recovered from them. Bureau Report
