Maranello, May 19: Ferrari team boss Jean Todt ponders the forthcoming Monaco Grand Prix with his driver Michael Schumacher undefeated this season. Reigning world motor racing champion Michael Schumacher goes into this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix aiming to score his sixth consecutive victory of the year. The Ferrari driver's phenomenal 100 per cent strike rate this season is, however, no guarantee of success and as the German put his car through its paces at the Ferrari test track in Italy, team boss Jean Todt said it was hard to stay on the victor's podium.
"We do this job because we want to be successful, we love Ferrari, we are proud to be at Ferrari and very happy at Ferrari and we just have a fantastic team and altogether we aim for success. It is very difficult to remain successful. It's like if you have beautiful grass and you don't give it water, it gets burned and it's just the same with us, we have always to renew the motivation, to push ourselves and what does push us is trying to achieve success," said Todt.
He said Monaco, a tight street circuit in the principality of Monte Carlo which gives teams very little room in which to work and the drivers even less to overtake, was difficult but special.
