Srinagar, June 18: All six districts of the Kashmir valley are expected to have their own Internet nodes within two months, BSNL General Manager Sunil Kumar has said.
"If everything goes smoothly and as planned, the Internet problem in Kashmir valley will be over in next two months. Every district will have its own nodes," Kumar said on Tuesday after inaugurating a 256-line telephone exchange in Baramulla.

Kumar said once the Internet nodes were in place, people would be able to avail connection to the worldwide web of information easily.

Work on the optical fibre cable between Jammu and Srinagar had been completed and it would be operational in two to three weeks time, he said. Bureau Report
