Tripathi`s bail application moved in session`s court
Lucknow, Oct 13: The counsel for former UP minister Amarmani Tripathi, the prime accused in poetess Madhumita murder case, today moved his bail application in the sessions court here.
Lucknow, Oct 13: The counsel for former UP minister Amarmani Tripathi, the prime accused in poetess Madhumita murder case, today moved his bail application in the sessions court here.
Sessions judge Jagmohan Paliwal fixed October 22 for
hearing of the bail application.
According to V K Shahi, Tripathi's counsel, it was submitted that till now there was no direct evidence of Tripathi's involvement in the murder of the poetess.
"The CBI investigations are merely based on suspicion as far as Amarmani Tripathi's involvement is concerned in the case," Shahi added.
Earlier on October six, the CBI court had dismissed a similar bail application moved by Tripathi, who is in judicial custody, till October 20. Bureau Report
