Bihar court extends judicial remand of Shahabuddin
Siwan, Sept 20: A local court today extended the judicial remand of the controversial RJD MP Md Shahabuddin as he failed to appear before the court on the plea of being indisposed.

Shahabuddin, arrested and remanded in connection with murder of two CPI-ML workers and assault on senior police officers, was to appear before the court of chief judicial magistrate, Siwan,Sushil Kumar Sinha today.
The magistrate while extending the judicial remand of the RJD MP till October 10 directed the District Magistrate R K Mahajan, Superintendent of Police Jaglal Choudhry and civil surgeon Naseem Alm to appear in person before the court on September 22 with detailed report about the MP's health condition.
The leader of the opposition in Bihar Assembly Sushil Kumar Modi had yesterday demanded booking the MP under Pota for having alleged links with gunrunners of Jammu and Kashmir as reported in newspapers.
