Mumbai: Actor-singer Ayushmann Khurrana, who will be seen co-hosting the forthcoming special show “Suron Ke Rang Colors Ke Sang - Salaam Shri Gulshan Kumar”, which is an ode to music label T-Series' founder, late Gulshan Kumar, says being a music lover, he felt “pride and honour” in hosting the show.

"Being a music lover, I've grown up listening to songs of T-Series and have witnessed the revolution that Shri Gulshan Kumar initiated. It was a matter of pride and honour for me to host a concert as a tribute to Gulshan Kumar,” Ayushmann said in a statement.

During their hosting duties, Ayushmann and Sonu Nigam talked about the works of Gulshan Kumar that left a lasting mark in Bollywood.

Ayushmann, who never had a chance to meet him, said Gulshan Kumar was a game changer in the industry. Sonu agreed, and said he had met Gulshan and considered that he had great foresight when it came to what T-Series stands for. He also said that Gulshan Kumar's son Bhushan is now carrying forward the legacy ably.

“Suron Ke Rang Colors Ke Sang - Salaam Shri Gulshan Kumar”, which will be aired on Colors on Sunday, will feature power-packed performances by musicians Himesh Reshammiya, Mithoon, Mika Singh and actress Sunny Leone.

Also seen at the special gala will be celebrities like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Rishi Kapoor, Rakesh Roshan, Shilpa Shetty, Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty.
