Edinburgh, Feb 23: England beat Scotland 35-13 in Six Nations game. England beat Scotland for the 15th time in 16 encounters on Saturday (February 21) but their 35-13 victory in an untidy Six Nations encounter was one of the world champions' least convincing performances in recent seasons. England inside centre Jason Robinson chipped ahead and the bounce helped left wing Ben Cohen go over for the first try. When Danny Grewcock then charged ahead the ball came out of his hands and the Scots appealed for a knock-on, but referee David McHugh allowed full back Iain Balshaw to kick ahead for the second try.
England fly half Paul Grayson kicked both conversions and two penalties, to Scottish captain and fly half Chris Paterson's two penalties.
The scruffy nature of the match continued in the second half, with Josh Lewsey claiming England's third try after charging down a Paterson kick.

Scottish right wing Simon Danielli replied by kicking ahead and gathering the ball for a try, conveted by Paterson.

With the Scots down to 10 men after a yellow card for Simon Taylor, lock Danny Grewcock charged over for England's fourth try, giving the defending champions the Calcutta Cup and keeping them on course for back-to-back grand slams.
