Washington, Feb 25: The United States has started filing charges against alleged Al-Qaeda and Tailban detainees held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
An alleged Al-Qaeda member from Yemen and another from Sudan have been charged with conspiracy to commit war crimes, the Pentagon announced on Tuesday.
Ali Hamza Ahmed Sulayman al Bahlul of Yemen and Ibrahim Ahmed Mahmoud al Qosi of Sudan will be tried by military commission, the Pentagon said in a statement.
Both men allegedly served as bodyguards to Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, it said. Bureau Report
