Five militants, among seven people killed in J&K
Srinagar, June 20: Five militants, including a self-styled commander of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit, were among seven persons killed in Jammu and Kashmir since last night, a police spokesman said today.

Four militants were killed in an encounter with security forces at Charwari Tarana in Banihal area of Doda district in Jammu region last night, he said.
The spokesman said the encounter broke out when security forces confronted the militants in the village during search operation, launched on a specific information.
Four AK assault rifles, eight magazines and a grenade were recovered from them.
The spokesman said a commander of LeT outfit identified as Mohammad Altaf alias Abu Sayed, a resident of Pakistan, was killed in an encounter at village Patoos in Panzla area of Baramulla district in north Kashmir today.
