The chat show host will executive produce eight episodes of "Little Big Shot" alongside comedian Steve Harvey, following her reality programme "First Dates" being picked up by the network, reported Deadline.

"Little Big Shots" will see children showcasing all their different talents, whether it be singing, dancing or something unusual.

Harvey will take on the role of host and will interview the young guests appearing in the series.

"First Dates" was picked up by NBC in March and is based on the UK's series of the same name with DeGeneres producing.

The star's sitcom "One Big Happy", starring Elisha Cuthbert and Kelly Brook, was recently cancelled by the network.
