New Delhi, July 10: CBI sleuths today carried out searches on residential and official premises of senior NDMC officials, including a former chairperson, in connection with alleged irregularities in regularising illegal constructions.
Officials of the agency's anti-corruption branch swooped on 13 places, which included premises of two "private" persons also, CBI sources said.

The official and residential premises of two senior officials and some assistant and junior engineers were also searched, they said.
The CBI alleged that the concerned officials abused their official position and violated certain norms vis-a-vis regularising illegal constructions.

The chairperson was transferred from the NDMC soon after the DDA scam in April this year.
