New Delhi, Sept 23: The Commonwealth Games Federation's bid evaluation commission report will be delayed by a week since the two biding cities New Delhi and Hamilton could not file the clarifications sought by the committee before the stipulated September 10 deadline. "Both the cities, New Delhi and Hamilton, bidding for the 2010 Commonwealth Games had given their clarification only yesterday. Due to this, the report which was to be submitted by October 1, will be delayed by a week," Chief Executive Officer of Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) Michael Hooper told a news from London today. Hooper said the committee had asked for "further clarifications" from the two bidding cities by September 10 so as to complete the final report by the end of the month.

But considering the level of data required, the authorities had sought more time and the Indian Olympic Committee submitted the details only yesterday, he said.
Hooper said he was satisfied by the responses and the final report would come out by October 7.
The seven-member bid evaluation team had visited India from August 4 to 6 to access New Delhi's bid for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.

The team headed by Richard McColgan met Delhi's Lt Governor Vijai Kapoor and officials of the Indian Olympic Association and visited the various venues for the games, including the site of the proposed games village. The team also conducted a general survey of the city.

The voting on the bid will take place in Kingston, Jamaica, on November 13.
