Mumbai, Sept 27: The issue of Union HRD Minister Murli Manohar Joshi`s resignation in the wake of a Rae Bareli court deciding to frame charges against him in the Babri demolition case, would be sorted out by tomorrow, BJP President M Venkaiah Naidu today.
"The matter will be sorted out by tomorrow evening", Naidu told reporters here.
He ruled out any differences among the BJP`s top echelon over the resignation issue saying, "media has written enough of it but it will come to an end by tomorrow evening."
He clarified that case against Joshi was not of "moral turpitude or that of involvement in scam or a murder."
Asked about the party`s stance over the issue, Naidu said,"We are doing what has to be done". He however, refused to elaborate further.
Joshi has already indicated that he was willing to reconsider his decision to quit following a meeting with Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who is returning home tomorrow, following a tour to Turkey and US.
To a query, Naidu said the Ram temple movement is neither BJP`s not NDA`s agenda and it was a people`s movement.
Naidu blamed Congress and communists -- "The pseduo-secular political parties" -- for perpetuating the Ayodhya dispute for votebank politics and appealed Muslims to hand over the site to Hindus in view of the a news agency report.
