Some of the employees of public works and registration departments, whose dismissal orders were revoked had joined their duties, which has caught the top officials by surprise.
According to some top officials of this district, who agreed that technically the dismissal orders could be revoked by the departmental heads, the details of the modus of revocation of dismissal orders were being collected. They said the government had not so far given any orders to cancel the dismissal orders and what had been done by the these two department heads was "unilateral in nature and also a violation".
The dig of registration had cancelled the dismissals of six employees in his letter after accepting their explanation under ESMA Section 7(4). In the PWD department, 16 employees had been reinstated in the quality control and supervision wings.
