Kolkata, Dec 18: Leg-spinner Anil Kumble and veteran speedster Javagal Srinath were today included in the 14-member Indian squad for the seven match one-day series against New Zealand starting on December 26. Two additional players, who will be named after the completion of the second Test beginning tomorrow, will join the team later, cricket board secretary S K Nair announced here.
The team: Sourav Ganguly (Capt), Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Kaif, Sanjay Bangar, Zaheer Khan, Javagal Srinath, Harbhajan Singh, Anil Kumble, V V S Laxman, Parthiv Patel, Ajit Agarkar. The selection committee, which met here today for four hours, also announced 16 other names who will join the 14 in the squad for the New Zealand one-dayers to form the 30-member probable list for the World Cup in South Africa next year.
