Jaipur, Dec 06: State BJP president Vasundhara Raje was today unanimously elected the party`s legislature party leader to become the chief minister of Rajasthan.

    Union Finance Minister Jaswant Singh, BJP general secretary Promod Mahajan and Information and Broadcasting Minister Ravisankar Prasad attended the meeting as Central observers.

    Speaking to mediapersons before the BJP meet, Vasundhra Raje said, “First I need to assess the real situation, the financial situation of the state. After that, I intend to promote small-scale industry and tourism.”

    Raje said that she has a ‘vision-blueprint’ and that after getting a clear idea of the ground realities, she would wed the two. She said, “I will soon let you all know about the programmes that I intend to undertake.”

    Raje also said that she will break away from tradition of taking oath in the Governor’s house. Instead she would take oath outdoor amongst the people, who have given her the mandate.
