Pune, Dec 08: Evergreen actor Dev Anand and melody queen Lata Mangeshkar were conferred with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the on-going second Pune International Film Festival here. Dev Anand enthralled the audience with his speech recounting his nostalgic years in Pune, on how he used to travel on bicycle, his personality development at the Prabhat studios here and his subsequent metomorphosis into a star. The awards to Lata and Dev Anand were given at the hands of the Nationalist Congress Party leader Sharad Pawar yesterday, Dev Anand announced his intention to make a film in English tilted `Song of Life' in which he wants Lata to sing an English song. "I have requested Lataji to sing for this film" he added.
He said he was on the look out for a beautiful girl for starring in his Hindi film `Beauty Queen'.

Others present on the occasion included Rajya Sabha member Suresh Kalmadi, actor Sanjay Dutt and film-maker Jabbar Patel.
