India, Pak mum on the reported meeting of Mishra and ISI chief
Islamabad, Jan 05: A reported meeting between national security adviser Brajesh Mishra and ISI chief Ehsanul Haque generated considerable interest here with both countries today parrying all questions on this issue.

When asked to share the details of the meeting at a press briefing, External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha said, "I don't think it is necessary."
Later, at his press meet, Pakistan foreign office spokesman Masood Khan said, "I have no information about that.”
When pressed further on the activities of Mishra who came to Islamabad on Jan.2, triggering media speculation, he said, "Mishra is part of the Indian delegation. So he is having meetings."
With whom? asked a scribe. "Meetings with officials here," came the prompt response.
Khan went on to add that he was not sharing the itinerary of the meetings of members of the Indian delegation. “This is no big deal."
