Itanagar, Oct 11: Elaborate security arrangements are in place here and in Tawang for the two-day visit of President A P J Abdul Kalam beginning today, official sources said.
The president would visit Tawang, the second largest Buddhist monastery in Asia, on the occasion of `Buddha Mahotsav`, the sources said.
Kalam would meet children and answer their queries during his visit.
The President would spend the night at Tawang and arrive here on October 15 for about four hours before returning to Delhi.

During his stay here, Kalam would visit the museum and meet representatives of local NGOs, official sources said.
