Kochi, Jan 17: The Malaysian government has decided to invest in the Sabarimala road project of the Kerala government, Malaysian PWD Minister Sami Vellu said here. Malayasia is also keen on the Rs 7000 crore express highway project, being showcased at the Global Investors Meet, organised by the state government, the minister told reporters on arrival at Nedumbassery International Airport near here.

The minister is leading an eight-member delegation to take part in the two-day meet, beginning here on January 18.
Replying to another query, he said the Malaysian cabinet had decided to purchase rubber from Kerala. Malaysia purchases huge quantity of rubber from Vietnam and some other countries. Bureau Report
