New Delhi, Aug 03: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd is understood to have informed TRAI that it would take at least two weeks to furnish the traffic-related data sought by the telecom regulator. TRAI had said last week it would come out with its revised Interconnect Usage Charges (IUC) order after receiving certain data from state-owned BSNL.

According to senior BSNL officials, the company during its meeting with TRAI on July 30 had said it would take anywhere between two and three weeks to submit the required data.
Sources said as there were different calling patterns on different days of the week, at least one week would be required for "just for observations".
Necessary instructions would also need to be issued, they pointed out.
When contacted, TRAI officials maintained that the traffic data would be submitted by BSNL in 7-10 days' time as the sample was "limited". Bureau Report
