Randhawa slips to third after third round of Casio World tournament
New Delhi, Nov 30: Jyoti Randhawa slipped one position to sole third place after the third round of the 140 million yen, Casio World tournament being played at the par-72 Ibusuki golf course in Kagosima, Japan yesterday.

Randhawa submitted yet another sub-par round of three-under 69 for a 54-hole total of 13-under 203.
According to reports received here, overnight leader Katsumune Imai increased his lead to five strokes with a brilliantly compiled 5-under 67 today for an overall total of 19-under 197. However it was another Japanese pro Soushi Tajima who submitted the day’s best card of eight-under 64 to jump to the second position.
Randhawa, playing in his rookie season in Japan, continued his good performance after beginning the tournament with a solid four-under 68 followed by a 65 on the second day to be in second position.
The 31-year-old opened his account with a birdie. However he three-putted on the fifth to lose a stroke on the par-5 hole and followed it up with another bogey on the par-3 sixth. He made up for lost ground with a birdie on the seventh and an eagle on the eighth to make the turn at two-under.
On the back nine, Randhawa birdied the par-5 13th and 18th and dropped a stroke on the 15th for his 69.
Imai, who had an eagle two on a par-4 hole on the first day and a hole-in-one on the second, played a bogey-free round of five-under 67 which gave him a five-stroke lead over Tajima.
