Mumbai, Feb 16: Veteran comedian Jagdeep was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award, while the recent hit 'Munnabhai MBBS' walked away with two honours at the first Marshall Comedy Awards here. Jagdeep, whose career spanned over 53 years, received the award from actor-cum-politican Sunil Dutt, who on the occasion, remembered interviewing the noted comedian for Radio Ceylon in 1953. Govinda was adjudged Best Actor in comedy role for his performance in 'Ek aur Ek Gyarah'at a colourful function on Saturday night.

Munnabhai MBBS was awarded the Best Comedy Film, while its actors Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi were adjuded Best comedian Jodi no. 1. Rajpal Yadav received the Best Comedian Actor Award for his hilarious role performance in Priyadarshan's 'Hungama'. Delnaz paul bagged the Best Comedian Actress award for her role in Karan Johar's 'Kal Ho Na Ho'
