Doha, Apr 13: Eleven Russian employees of a Russian energy services firm have been kidnapped in Baghdad, the Pan-Arab Al-jazeera satellite channel said, quoting an official at the firm in Moscow. Two Iraqi guards "may have been killed during an armed confrontation with the kidnappers," Al-jazeera's Moscow correspondent quoted the official as saying late yesterday.
The station identified the firm as the "Russian international company for energy services," saying the 11 worked for its branch in Baghdad.
