Agartala, May 30: Banned insurgent outfit All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF) has changed its name to 'Revolutionary People's Army' (RPA). The decision was taken at the three-day biennial conference of council of representatives of Tripura People's Democratic Front (TPDF) which began on March 29, 2003, a press statement said.

The ATTF is the armed wing of TPDF.

The statement issued by Ranjit Debbarma, TPDF president.

Debbarma said, henceforth RPA would not be responsible for the deeds of any person or outfit operating in the name of ATTF.
