New Delhi, June 05: Cellular service provider Bharti on Wednesday announced a handset package which includes an Airtel pre-paid connection with a Motorola T190 handset at Rs 2,999. The move comes close on the heels of announcing a bundled package with Nokia 3315 with an Airtel connection for an effective cost of Rs 3,315, a company statement said here.

Meanwhile, Touchtel, the fixed line service of the Bharti Group claimed that its fixed line subscriber base has crossed the four lakh mark.
Rapid growth had doubled the subscriber numbers in less than a year, the release said.
Announcing the four lakh subscriber base, a Bharti official said the service combined with the good technology had fuelled the growth. Bureau Report
