Montoya banned from driving in France
Draguignan, June 25: Formula One driver Juan Pablo Montoya has been banned from driving on French roads for four months after being convicted of speeding. The Colombian was caught doing 204 kph (126 mph) at the wheel of a BMW 4x4 vehicle on a French motorway last month.

The 27-year-old Williams driver was also fined 1,200 euros when the case came to court on Tuesday in Draguignan, southern France. He is banned from driving in France but can continue to drive in other countries.
The suspension does not affect his participation in Formula One races. Montoya was not present in court but his lawyer read a letter in which he apologised for speeding.
