Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 16: Renowned Malayalam poet Yusafali Kechery will be the new chairman of the Kerala Sahitya Academy. Addressing a press meet here today, state culture minister G Karthikeyan announced the government's decision to nominate Kechery to the post which fell vacant following the death of novelist N P Muhammad earlier this month.
