New Delhi, Nov 19: State-owned Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd today announced reduction in international long distance tariffs for calls to US, Canada, Europe and UK to Rs 6.40 per minute.

For calls to south-east Asian countries including Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand, the tariffs have been reduced to Rs eight per minute with a pulse of six seconds.
The above rates are effective from tomorrow till January 26, 2004, an MTNL release said here.
The rates would be applicable 24 hours.
