Islamabad, Sept 10: Pakistan today condemned Indo-Israeli defence cooperation which was outlined during the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Aerial Sharon to New Delhi, even as President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali reviewed the regional and international situation ahead of their visits to the US. Official media reports here said that Musharraf and Jamali have been given a "comprehensive" briefing by Pakistan Foreign Secretary Riaz Khokhar today on regional and international issues, including the emerging relations between India and Israel. Their briefing coincided with the visit of Sharon to India and the merging defence relations between New Delhi and Tel Aviv, specially the sale of Israeli Airborne Radars to India with the American approval.

Today's meeting also discussed the forthcoming visit of Musharraf to New York to address the United Nations General Assembly Session. Besides holding talks with President George W Bush and other world leaders, Musharraf was expected to deliver a strong speech in UN focussing on the Kashmir issue and slow pace of India-Pak pace process.
