Robertsganj, Feb 29: The Reliance group today announced its decision to set two power plants of a total capacity of 3,000 megawatt in Sonebhadra and Mirzapur districts of Uttar Pradesh. State Mines and Minerals Minister Vishambhar Lal Nishad told mediapersons here the power plant to be set up by the Reliance group in Sonebhadra would be of 2,000 megawatt while the one in Mirzapur would have a capacity of 1,000 megawatt. The minister said a team from the Reliance officials had already conducted a survey of the Ahraura area in Mirzapur and the area between Sone and Tenu in Sonebhadra for setting up the plants.
