Mumbai: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is yet to decide on doing remake version of Tamil film "Kaththi".

Directed by A R Murugadoss, "Kaththi", an action drama film features actor Vijay in dual roles along with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Neil Nitin Mukesh and others.


The film will be remade in Hindi.


"Yes I am approached for the film. I have not decided about it (doing the film or not)," Akshay said here in a media interaction.


The "Khiladi" actor has worked with director Murugadoss in "Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty".


"Kaththi" revolves around the tale of Kathiresan and Jeevanantham who are lookalikes and focuses on the issue of farmers committing suicide due to corporate encroachment.


Akshay had came out in the support of distressed farmers and donated money for relief of drought-hit farmers in Maharashtra.


The 48-year-old actor is busy shooting for "Airlift", which is based on biggest evacuation of Indians based in Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait War.


The film stars Akshay and Nimrat Kaur in lead roles and is scheduled for release on January 22 next year.


Besides this, Akshay will be seen in "Housefull 3" and "Rustom".


"I have this film ('Airlift'), Housefull 3 and 'Rustom'," he added.


There were also talks of Akshay coming up with the sequel of "Oh My God".


"No...Not yet I am still searching for a good subject," he adds.
