According to DNA, Anushka's role as 'Aarfa' required her to make cow dung cakes, which is commonly practised in Haryana, where it is used as a natural form of household fuel. While many thought, she would turn cold, the actress on the other hand did surprise by actually making gobar cakes.

Talking about her character Aarfa, the report quotes her saying, “Her strength lies in her quiet but resolute ability to manage work at home, on a farm and still focus on wrestling. Every Indian home has a hero in the woman who keeps everything together and ensures that the family is cared for. Through Aarfa, I hope to highlight their strength and contribution to society and family.”
