Washington: Benjamin Bratt will be starring alongside Bryan Cranston and Diane Kruger in a fact-based thriller 'The Infiltrator.'

The film, which will be helmed by 'The Lincoln Lawyer' director Brad Furman, is based on the Robert Mazur autobiography with a script by Ellen Brown Furman, Deadline.com reported


The story of the pic, which is being produced by Good Films' Miriam Segal, centers on a customs and excise agent (Cranston) who goes undercover as a money launderer and infiltrates the bankers behind the Medellin drug cartel.


Bratt will pay the role of Roberto Alcanio, the agent's contact who deals directly with cartel board members including Pablo Escobar.
