Ed Speleers was considered for role of Finn in `Star Wars`

London: Actor Ed Speleers has revealed that he auditioned for the role of Finn in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens".

Speleers, 27, said he met with the film's director JJ Abrams, but things did not work out, reported Digital Spy. "To be fair, as I didn't get it, I suppose I can turn round now and say yes, I was considered.I auditioned and had meetings with JJ Abrams and screen tests," he said.

Character of Finn is played by John Boyega in the film.
