Washington:Eddie Redmayne, who recently bagged a role in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter's prequel 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,' is hugely delighted and excited to get it.

The 33-year-old actor, who will play Newt Scamander in the Warner Bros. film, said he was thrilled to be a part of the movie as he has always loved that world, reports E! Online.


Warner Bros. Pictures' president, Greg Silverman said that they are thrilled to welcome 'The Theory of Everything' star into J.K. Rowling's wizarding world, where they know he will deliver a remarkable performance.


In 2014, the company announced that movie is a trilogy, with films slated for release in 2016, 2018 and 2020. Rowling will pen the script and David Yates will direct it.
