London: The next instalment ensemble action film "Expendables" will reportedly start shooting next year.

The star-studded action-packed project is eyed for 2017 release, reported Digital Spy.


The sequel to "The Expendables 3", which starred big action stars Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jason Statham, will reportedly shoot in China in 2016.


The budget for the fourth in the series is expected to cross USD 100 million.


The cast and the director for the project are still not confirmed.


A television series and all-female spinoff are also in the works.
