Fifty Shades Darker gets a fraught ride from the Censor board
Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) gives an R rating to James Foley`s Fifty Shades Darker
Mumbai: James Foley`s Fifty Shades Darker, which earlier teased fans with masquerade parties and steamy sex scenes, is probably not dodging the censor bullets yet again. According to the statement recently issued by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), the highly anticipated sequel of the blockbuster has been given an R rating for having "strong erotic sexual content, some graphic nudity and language," reports E! Online.
The upcoming flick will see Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan`s return to the big screen once again as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey from Fifty Shades of Grey, the first movie in the franchise based on the writings of E. L. James of the same name. Reportedly, Eric Johnson, Bella Heathcote, Luke Grimes, Marcia Gay Harden, Robin Lee, Hugh Dancy, Rita Ora, Kim Basinger and few others are also signed on for the film.
Fifty Shades Darker is slated to release on February 10, 2017, just a few days ahead of the first film`s Valentine`s Day debut.
