The hip-hop star, 31, will play himself, alongside Terrence Jenkins and Robin Thicke's ex-wife Paula Patton.

The film will centre on a professed ladies man who falls for a woman he initially agreed to casually date, reported Contactmusic.

Honey's Bille Woodruff is directing the project, which will be produced by Queen Latifah's company Flavor Unit Entertainment. Jenkins and Patton will also serve as
producers.

The film began shooting last week in Los Angeles.
